Drug recovery - Anniesland, Glasgow
Police have recovered a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £120,000 in Glasgow.
Around 2.15pm, on Monday, 23 March 2026, officers acting under warrant searched a former business premises on Great Western Road, Anniesland, and discovered the large-scale cannabis cultivation.
Two men, aged 36 and 40 years, have been arrested and charged following the find.
They were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector Nick Gribben said:
“We will continue to detect, deter and disrupt illegal drug activity in our community. Our local officers work relentlessly to gather intelligence and act on information. Support from the community is vital, therefore, we'd urge people to contact police with any information about drugs supply or cultivations."
