Cannabis cultivations worth over £500,000 discovered in Dundee

Drugs worth more than £500,000 have been recovered in Dundee.

Around 9am on Monday, 23 March, 2026 officers executed search warrants at two properties in the Watson Street area of the city.

Two cannabis cultivations were discovered with an estimated street value of £549,000.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and was due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 24 March.

Detective Sergeant David Feeney said: “These are significant recoveries and demonstrate our continued commitment to removing illegal drugs from our communities.

“Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.
