Body found in wooded area near Ardencraig Road, Glasgow

Around 3.45pm on Friday, 20 March, 2026, the body of a man was found in a wooded area near Ardencraig Road in Glasgow.

Formal identification is yet to take place, however, the family of 60-year-old Robert Anderson, who was reported missing on Wednesday, 4 March, has been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
