Appeal for information following wilful fire in Oldmeldrum

Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.

The fire happened around 8.15pm on Monday, 23 March, 2026, at a disused building by the A920 in Oldmeldrum.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Constable Erin Dawson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone driving along the A920 at the time with dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
