Appeal following serious assault in Kilsyth

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Kilsyth.

The incident took place around 10.30pm on Friday, 6 March, 2026, on Howe Road.

A man in dark clothing got out of a car, a turquoise BMW M3, and assaulted a 49-year-old woman.

Officers attended and the woman was taken to Monklands Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Martin Daly said: “We have carried out extensive enquiries so far, and now I am asking if anyone witnessed the incident to please get in touch with us.

“Similarly, any drivers who were in the area at the time with dash-cam footage should contact us as you may have captured something which could assist our investigation.”
