Appeal following robbery at shop in East Kilbride

Officers are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop in East Kilbride.

Around 9.15am on Tuesday, 10 March, 2026, a male entered the store on Leeward Circle and took a quantity of alcohol.

He is described as being around 16 years of age, approximately 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a black jacket, a black hat and sky blue joggers.

Detective Constable Ross Dalrymple said: “Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this incident.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or a person matching the description to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.”
