Appeal following housebreaking in Glenmavis

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a house in Glenmavis was broken into on Friday, 27 February, 2026.

Around 8pm, a property in the Yetts Hole Road area was broken into and a quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen.

Constable Nathan Gilchrist said: "Enquiries are ongoing into this housebreaking and we are appealing for any information.

"We would urge anyone who was in the area of Yetts Hole Road or Gavin and Shankburn Road in Glenmavis on Friday evening who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has any information which could assist our enquiry to contact us.

"Any drivers with dashcam are asked to check their footage and get in touch if it holds anything relevant."
