Appeal after two vehicle crash on Hutcheon Street in Aberdeen

Road Policing officers in Aberdeen are appealing for information following a two-vehicle crash on Hutcheon Street.

The incident took place around 12.55pm on Tuesday, 17 March, 2026. It involved a Mercedes C300 and Volvo XC40.

Two men, the driver and passenger of the Mercedes, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. A third man, the driver of the Volvo, also attended hospital as a precaution.

The road was closed until 7.30pm to allow for an investigation to take place. Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.

Sergeant Sarah Ritchie said: “We are appealing for anyone with information on the crash, or who saw either vehicle beforehand, to please come forward.

“We are particularly keen to speak to any motorists who were in the area and may have dash-cam footage, which could assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting incident 1547 of 17 March, 2026.”
