Appeal after car leaves the scene of crash with motorbike in Livingston

Officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Livingston, West Lothian.

The incident took place on Ladywell East Road, outside Ladywell Pharmacy, around 7.25pm on Friday, 20 March, 2026.

A dark-coloured car collided with a Sinnis GPX 125 motorbike, before failing to stop and leaving the scene. The female motorcyclist was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

Constable Louise Wallstedt said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have seen the vehicles involved to please contact us.

“We would also ask anyone with dash-cam footage or CCTV footage which could assist our enquiries, to come forward.”
