Appeal after car failed to stop on Dunkeld Road, Perth

Road policing officers are appealing for information to help trace the driver of a vehicle which failed to stop in Perth.

Around 12.25am on Monday, 2 March, 2026, officers signalled for a silver Toyota Avensis, registration FH08 OWY, to pull over on Dunkeld Road.

It made off at speed on Ruthvenfield Road in the direction of Castle Brae.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on Uist Place.

Officers are asking anyone with dash-cam footage of the area around the time to review it and bring anything of significance to our attention.

Residents of Uist Place are also asked to check doorbell or private CCTV footage to see if they have captured anything which may assist our enquiries.
