Woman dies following disturbance in Edinburgh

A woman has died following a disturbance at a property in Craigievar Square, Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to the incident around 8.45pm on Monday, 20, July, 2026.

A 44-year-old woman was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin are aware.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

There is no risk to the wider public and a police presence will remain in the area while enquiries continue.
