Man arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Irvine

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into a robbery and assault in Irvine.

The incident occurred around 12.10pm on Friday, 30 January, 2026, in the Bridgegate area of the town.

The 39-year-old was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, 9 February, 2026.
