Four males arrested and charged in connection with a number of housebreakings

Four males have been arrested and charged in connection with a number of housebreakings in South Ayrshire and Dumfries.

The incidents happened on Tuesday, 24 February, 2026, across Tarbolton, Thornhill, Kirkconnell and Kelloholm at a business premises and three residential homes.

Three men, aged 35, 27 and 21, were charged in connection with theft, housebreakings and a number of driving offences.

They are due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court today, Wednesday, 25 February, 2026.

The fourth male youth, aged 14, was reported to the relevant authorities.
