Man arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder in Inverness

A 53-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Inverness.

The incident happened around 11.20pm on Sunday, 14 September, on Madras Street.

A 21-year-old man was found seriously injured on Telford Street and taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The 53-year-old man is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Friday, 19 September, 2025.
