Appeal following crash on Union Grove, Aberdeen

Officers are appealing for information following a crash in Aberdeen.

The crash happened around 7.40am on Thursday, 4 September, 2025, on Union Grove by the junctions with Ashley Road and St Swithin Street, involving a pedestrian and a blue Skoda Yeti car.

The pedestrian, an 89-year-old man, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The driver of the vehicle did not require treatment.

Constable Stuart Henderson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

“We also ask anyone with dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
