A man has been convicted of murdering a woman in North Berwick.

Mompati Dodo Isaacs, 39, was found guilty at the High Court in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 17, September 2025.

On Monday, 1 January, 2024, officers were called to a disturbance at a property on Craigleith Avenue in the town. Keotshepile Naso Isaacs, 33, known as ‘Naso’, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Debbie Duncan said: “This was a senseless crime which took the life of a much-loved woman who was the mother of three children. This attack left her family devastated and shocked the community.

“We hope that this conviction brings them some measure of comfort.

“Police Scotland remains committed to bringing those who commit such violent acts to justice.”
