Two men have arrested and charged in connection with the death of man in Airdrie

Two men, aged 24 and 26, have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in North Lanarkshire.

Around 12.15am on Thursday, 18 September, officers were called to a report of two men injured within a property in Hamilton Drive, Airdrie. 

Kevin Samuel Bowman, 30, pictured below, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A 27-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. 

The 24-year-old and the 26-year-old are due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 1 October, 2025.
