Man arrested following operation in Hamilton

A man has been arrested following an operation in Hamilton on Friday, 17 October 2025.

Around 10.20am, officers searched a house in the Fairhill area of Hamilton and recovered a quantity of herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of more than £700. A number of blister packs of tablets, believed to be diazepam, and two mobile phones were also seized.

A 43-year-old man was charged in connection with the recovery and has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal. A woman has also been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident.
