Arrest and charge following Greenock attempted murder

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a 65-year-old man in Greenock.

The incident happened around 5.20pm on Tuesday, 23 September, 2025, on Darndaff Road.

The man is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday, 3 October, 2025.
