Man arrested and charged in connection with break-in in Aberdeen

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with retail crime in Aberdeen.

A premises on Rosemount Viaduct was broken into around 5.55am on Monday, 17 November and items stolen. £250 worth of jewellery has since been recovered.

The 41-year-old man appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 18 November.

Detective Constable Fergus Anderson said: “Retail crime is not victimless. It has a financial impact on businesses.

“I’d like to thank everyone who assisted our enquiries into this incident.”
