Man arrested and charged after driving dangerously in the Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway areas

A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence after driving dangerously in the Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway areas.

Around 11.15am on Wednesday, 19 November, officers received numerous reports of a car being driven dangerously on the A76. The vehicle was later traced by officers on the A71 westbound, between Bellfield Interchange and Moorfield Roundabout.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
