Break-in to house on Woodmill Road, Dunfermline

Detectives are appealing for information following a break-in at a house in Dunfermline on Monday, 3 November, 2025.

Between 3pm and 11pm, the property on Woodmill Road was broken into. It is still being established what was stolen as a result.

Detective Sergeant Duncan Thompson said: "From our initial enquiries it is believed that the break-in took place around 9pm on Monday evening and they gained access from the rear of the property.

"As our investigation continues, I urge anyone who was in the Woodmill Road area on Monday evening who witnessed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary to please contact us. I would ask people with personal recording devices or dash-cam to review their footage and get in touch if it holds anything which may be relevant."
