Arrest following drugs recovery in Port Glasgow

A woman has been arrested in connection with a drugs recovery worth over £39,000 in Port Glasgow.

Around 9.15am on Friday, 21 November, 2025, officers from Inverclyde’s Priority Policing Team executed a search warrant at a property on Bardrainney Avenue.

A quantity of cocaine with a street value of around £38,960 and cannabis worth around £860 was recovered within.

The woman, aged 37, was arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.

"We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the drugs trade and preventing their manufacture and distribution.
