Appeal following serious assault in Abbotswell Road, Aberdeen

Officers in Aberdeen are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 16-year-old male youth.

Around 4.45pm on Saturday, 29 November, 2025, the male was assaulted in an alleyway at Abbotswell Road. He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Inspector Paul Hammond said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved. A group of males dressed in black clothing were seen in the area around the time of the assault and we would be keen to speak to them.

“Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2204 of 29 November, 2025.”
