Missing man - James Smith - Humberside/Argyll/Edinburgh
Police are appealing for information regarding 26-year-old James Smith who is missing from Humberside, England.
James has been missing since Sunday, 26 October 2025. He is White, has a northern English accent, is 6ft1, has short auburn hair and is of a slim build.
Inspector Andy Barron said:
"We believe that since James was last seen, he has travelled from Humberside via Stirling and then drove to Arran where his white Volkswagen Amarok was traced in a car park. From our enquiries so far, it is thought that on Saturday, 8 November, he travelled to the Tarbert area of Argyll, but may now have gone on further possibly headed east towards Edinburgh.
"Our concern is that James has not been in touch with family or friends now for over two weeks and that is concerning.
"We would appeal to anyone who has seen him, or who may have any information as to where he may be to contact police as soon as possible.
"We'd ask James to get in touch with police or family to let everyone know he is safe and well."
