Appeal after car set on fire in Dumbarton

Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Dumbarton.

Around 12.40am on Friday, 7 February, 2025, in Brucehill Road, a silver Skoda Octavia was deliberately set on fire.

The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no injuries.

Detective Constable Jade Sutherland said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
