Two men arrested and charged following disturbance in East Kilbride

Around 1.20pm on Sunday, 9 March, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Mount Cameron Drive South area of East Kilbride.

Officers attended and two men, both aged 48, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Specialist firearms officers were also in attendance. There were no reports of any injuries, and two knives were recovered.

The men are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today, Monday, 10 March, 2025.
