Report of unexploded ordnance discovered in Bothwell

Around 10.50am on Friday, 21 March, 2025, we received a report of an unexploded ordnance being discovered in the Old Bothwell Road area of Bothwell.

Officers are at the scene and EOD has been contacted.

An exclusion is in place and Bothwell Road at Bothwell Bridge is closed.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
