Man arrested and charged in connection with fatal crash in the Scottish Borders

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash on the A6088 between Bonchester Bridge and Carter Bar, Scottish Borders.

The crash involving two motorbikes happened around 2.30pm on Sunday, 28 July, 2024.

A 37-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, died at the scene.

He was charged in connection with causing death by dangerous driving.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

He appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today, Monday, 10 March, 2025.
