Man arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences in Stranraer

A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences in Stranraer.

Around 11.15am on Monday, 17 March, 2025, officers acting under warrant attended an address in the Oakland Avenue area.

A quantity of cannabis was recovered with an estimated street value of £38,000.

The 43-year-old man was expected to appear at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 18 March, 2025. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
