Further arrest following disorder in Glasgow on Sunday, 15 December, 2024

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the large-scale disturbance on Sunday, 15 December 2024, in and around Glasgow city centre.

The 23-year-old was arrested and charged today, Friday, 14 March, 2025.

He is due to appear from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 17 March, 2025.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Officers have previously arrested six men - aged 22, 23, 26, 27, 28 and 38 - in connection with the disorder.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information that could assist our investigation is asked to contact us via 101.”
