A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder in Dundee.

Officers were called to a disturbance in the St Clement Place area of the city around 1.40pm on Tuesday, 27 May.

Emergency services attended and a 24-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.

The male is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, 5 June, 2025 in connection with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

A further four men, aged 24, 36, 46 and 63, have previously been charged in connection with assault and threatening and abusive behaviour.

They are the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
