Appeal following report of items being thrown between vehicles near Laurencekirk

Officers are appealing for information after a report of items being thrown from one vehicle to another on the A90.

The incident happened between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Thursday, 5 June, 2025, northbound near Laurencekirk.

A grey BMW 3 and a grey Range Rover Sport were travelling at low speeds at the time of the incident. Items were thrown from the BMW towards the Range Rover, causing damage.

A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Constable Scott Walmsley said: “Enquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.

“We also ask drivers in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to please come forward.”
