Arrest and charge following robbery and serious assault in Baronscourt Park, Edinburgh

A 15-year-old male youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery and a serious assault in Baronscourt Park, Edinburgh.

Around 8.40pm on Wednesday, 30 July, 2025, a 16-year-old male youth was robbed of his electric bicycle and seriously assaulted.

He was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.

A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the 15-year-old male expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
