Enquiries continue following death of man in Berkeley Street, Glasgow

Enquiries are continuing after police were called to a report of a disturbance in Berkeley Street, Glasgow around 6.45am on Friday, 5 December.

A 39-year-old man was taken into police custody, became unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service. His family is aware.

Two women aged 25 and 40 and a 27-year-old man were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The death is being treated as unexplained. Officers remain at the scene and there is no threat to the wider public.
