Police respond to report of chemical smell in Leven Street, Glasgow

Around 9pm on Thursday, 26 September, 2024, we were called to a report of a chemical smell at a block of flats in Leven Street, next to Kenmure Street, in Glasgow.

Emergency services attended and a number of surrounding properties were evacuated as a precaution.

The building was confirmed to be safe a short time later and residents were allowed back into their homes.
