Man arrested and charged in connection with fire raising in Clydebank

A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a wilful fire raising in Clydebank.

The incident happened around 2.10am on Saturday, 15 June, 2024, when a white Audi A3 was set on fire in the Queen Mary Crescent area of the town.

The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.

The man is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.

Further enquiries remain ongoing.
