Man arrested in connection with attempted murder in Greenock released without charge

A 53-year-old man who was arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Greenock, has been released without charge.

Around 12.10am on Saturday, 28 September, 2024, officers were called to a report of a 21-year-old man found injured in the West Blackhall Street area.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Enquiries remain ongoing.
