£100k drugs recovery in Quarry Avenue, Cambuslang

Around 6.50pm on Friday, 1 November 2024, officers acting under warrant searched a premises on Quarry Avenue, Cambuslang.

A quantity of controlled drugs, believed to be herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £100,000, was recovered.

A 24-year- old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the find.

She has been released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
