Second man arrested and charged in connection with death of Sandie Butler

A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Sandie Butler in Glasgow.

The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 11 November, 2024.

The incident happened around 12.55pm on Tuesday, 29 October, when officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area. Sandie, aged 40, was found seriously injured and died a short time later.

A 53-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 November, 2024.
