Man charged in connection with Dangerous Dog Act in Kinross

A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with offences under the Dangerous Dog Act following an investigation into dog attacks in Kinross.

The incident occurred around 2.30pm on Sunday, 20 October, 2024, when police received a report of three dogs attacking four other dogs on High Street and Burns Begg Street, Kinross. One dog died and two others were injured and taken to the vet for treatment. A woman also suffered injuries when she fell and was treated at the scene.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
