Man arrested in connection with disturbance and robbery in Cambuslang

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with robbery and disturbance in Cambuslang.

Around 5.10pm on Monday, 11 November, 2024, emergency services attended a shop on Glebe Place following a report of a disturbance.

Officers attended and arrested the man in connection with the incident.

Following further enquiry, the 46-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at the same shop on Saturday, 9 November.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 12 November, 2024. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
