Appeal for information after vandalisms in Invergordon

Officers are appealing for information following reports of vandalism in the Invergordon area.

Between Thursday, 11 and Friday, 12 July, 2024 we received reports a number of grave headstones within Rosskeen Cemetery, Invergordon had been spray painted.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Police Sergeant Matthew Powell said: “These are mindless acts of vandalism which cause considerable distress to families who have graves within the cemetery. We are doing all we can to trace those responsible.

“I’m appealing to anyone who saw this happen or has any information to contact us.

“We will have additional officers in the area and if you have any information then please approach them."
