Appeal following car fire in Airdrie

Officers are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Airdrie.

The incident, involving a white Mazda 3, happened around 3.15am on Tuesday, 23 July, 2024, on Drumgelloch Street, Airdrie.

The fire is being treated as wilful and enquires are ongoing.

Detective Constable David Williamson said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have any information which could assist us to contact us.

“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam or private CCTV footage from the area.”
