Appeal following wilful fire in Macdowall Street, Paisley

Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Paisley.

The fire happened at a premises on Macdowall Street around 10.25pm on Thursday, 8 August, 2024.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Detective Sergeant James McAteer said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.

“We would also appeal to anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”
