Update – third man charged in connection with death in Greenock in November 2023

A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Michael Beaton in Greenock.

The 35-year-old was found with serious injuries on Drumfrochar Road around 7.20pm on Sunday, 26 November, 2023.

He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died a few hours later.

The 19-year-old man is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Friday, 5 April, 2024.
