Man and woman arrested and charged in connection with Dundee death

A third man and a woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Steven Hutton in Dundee.

Mr Hutton was found seriously injured at a property on Charleston Road around 11.05pm on Saturday, 30 March, 2024. He was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where he later died on Sunday, 31 March.

Following a post mortem examination, his death is being treated as murder and extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

A 27-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, 4 April, 2024.

A 43-year-old man and a 39-year-old man were previously arrested and charged in connection with the death. They were due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 2 and Wednesday, 3 April, 2024 respectively.
