Man charged following vehicle vandalisms in Ullapool

A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of 24 vandalisms to vehicles in Ullapool, which took place between Saturday, 20 May, and Tuesday, 30 May, 2023.

The incidents happened in a number of areas in Ullapool, including Vyner Place, Morefield Place and Seaforth Road.

The man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Inspector Kay Macrae, from Ullapool Police Station, said: “We are aware of the distress these incidents have caused in the local community and would like to thank the public for their assistance with our enquiries.”
