Murder inquiry launched following death in Whitfield Avenue, Dundee

A murder inquiry has been launched following the death of a man in Dundee.

Emergency services were called to a property in Whitfield Avenue around 11pm on Monday, 7 March, 2022, following a report of a concern for a person.

Officers found the body of a 33-year-old man within and are treating the death as murder.

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death.

Detective Inspector Craig Ross, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said:

“This is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider community. Anyone who believes they may have information relevant to the investigation is asked to email scdholmesdundee@scotland.pnn.police.uk or telephone using 101 quoting reference number 3772 of March 7, 2022."
