Chief Financial Officer - Sarah Roughead

Sarah Roughead is the chief financial officer, and her portfolio consists of the following business areas:

  • Finance
  • Logistics
  • Procurement

CFO Roughead is an associate chartered accountant with over 20 years senior finance experience across both the public and private sectors.

She has previously served as chief financial officer at Scottish National Investment Bank Plc and Scottish Equity Partners LLP. In addition, she has also held the roles of chief executive officer and chief operating officer at each organisation respectively.

She was appointed to the role of chief financial officer with Police Scotland in 2025.
